OOWriter + compiz runs slow after suspend & resume

Hi,
After suspending and resuming on a Dell M1130, any OOWriter documents that were open before the suspend respond very slowly. The window takes several seconds to draw when pressing the Page Down to scroll through the document, using 100% CPU.
This problem only happens when using Compiz. If I switch to Metacity and back to Compiz, or close the document and reopen it, OOWriter returns to normal speed.

Other apps (e.g. OOCalc) don't seem to be affected.

Any ideas?
