Document as Email, Changing

Using ubuntu 7.04. Problem changing email program sending document in OpenOffice. In the terminal, commands given: cd /usr/share/ ; mozilla-thunderbird, results in starting Thunderbird. But when I change email sender in OpenOffice under Tools->Options->Internet->Email->Email Program using /usr/share/mozilla-thunderbird mozilla-thunderbird Evolution as the email sender as default is not changed. I suspect that this is a bug. I have duplicated this attempt.

Can I ask you if you installed the official Ubuntu package, or the new 2.0 version from Mozilla?

I have resolved this problem. Here is what I did:

1)I configured Evolution but chose not to make Evolution the default email sender.
2)I used System->Preferences->Preferred Applications->Mail Reader choosing Thunderbird as default email sender.
