x-axis should transform the calendar data into real timeline

I have following problem, i dont know if the chart system of OO is powerful enough to do it:

There is data collected at different dates, irregularly (sometimes every day, sometimes only once a week)
I can only get to show the data in a chart without real timeline, so the space between the week is the same between one day.

The only way solving this would be to make a colum for each day and fill it with no data, so the timeline on the x-axis would look correct, but still, lots of handwork i suppose. A, and the calendar data is formated a such

i think i got it, the type i needed was the XY-chart, not the line chart! didnt know the difference before :)
