change font color

i want to change the font color but can't seem to find font color option.

At the right side of the tool bar there's an icon that is an 'a' with red, green, and blue circles, click on the down arrow to the right of that and you can select the font colour to use.

i don't see it in my oo writer. i'm using oo 2.4

Hi mayan

Do the following:

1: Click Format
2: Click Character
3: Click the tab "Font Effects"
4: Click below the entry "Font Color"
5: Chosse the color

Hi mayan

This was a description for OO 3. But I guess it's the same in OO 2.4. If you like to install OO 3, use the following link:

The installation is very simple and you will also get the desktop icons in Applications > Office.
