spreadsheet compound formula

 Have installed Feisty working well.

 Am trying to find the formula that works out daily compound intrest.

  Say for augments sake $10.00 @2% daily,compounding?
 Can work it out with pen and pencil or caculator but cannot get it to work in the spreadsheet formula bar.
 Am Learning and have step by step book but just cannot work out ,so am trying to work backwards.
  Any Help much appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes see wikipedia info Tar.
What I want to do is how to work out the compound intrest in the spread sheet.
Rather than use caculater daily,weekly,etc,just put the info into the
spreadsheet and I guess presto!
I hope this is enough info if not do not hessitate to ask more info.

Have done some searching around the I/Net and have found a ,allmost,step by step haw to for compound.

You can put the formula you use to calculate it into the formula-field in the spreadsheet. All the operators are available. When you click on fx you get the list of functions you can use.
