Right-click "Paste" default behaviour: How to change it to "Unformatted text"?

Asked by Piraja

I would like to use the right-click function in OOo Writer for pasting text from one document to another, but for my present project I would prefer having the text pasted in a clear "Unformatted text" mode. Having to do this copy-and-paste movement at short intervals gets rather annoying (and even unergonomical) if I always have to go to the toolbar or Edit menu and its drop-down options in order to paste "text only".

Help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Thanks: I know I can use Edit -> Paste special..., but my point was that for e.g. ergonomical reasons I'd rather use right-click. Nevertheless, thanks for the tip on the key combination (Ctrl+Shift+v). It still asks me to confirm whether I'd like to paste unformatted text, which means one click too many... Sorry for being such a pettifogging pain-in-the-backside. Maybe I will just make a macro and keybind it.

I think it would be an improvement if "Paste unformatted text" would be added to the right-click menu. Thanks!
