New Icons and Proper Names for Open Office 3.0

Asked by Flavelle

When Open Office 3.0 was released, I downloaded and installed it from openoffice.org. The installation was clean, and there were new icons. In addition, the applications showed up with their proper names (OpenOffice Write, Calc, Base, Impress, and Draw).

I am currently using the recommended 3.0 package in Launchpad (I'm running 64-bit ubuntu). I am generally happy, but it would be nice if the package would use the icons from Open Office and also use the correct names of the applications in the .desktop files.

Thanks,
