Default Settings

Asked by DickC

How can I change my default page setting so that a new document always opens as A4 not LETTER size. It can be done in Word and Word Perfect so I assume it can also be done in Writer. If it is not possible my wife will insist that I migrate back to Word Perfect!

Thanks for the question.

You have to first set the the page size to letter with format->page and then the page tab.

The you have to save the template with file->templates->save.

Finally go to file->templates->organise. find your saved template and click the right mouse button and then 'Set as default template'

I hope this helps
