Document Recovery will not fix file - help

I am trying to recover a odt file. The openoffice.org document recovery window appears with my file name, but when I click on the Start Recovery button I get Recovery failed. Help, what I can do to fix this problem?

As far as I know, nothing. Openoffice recovery sometimes works, but it's still worth saving regularly.

Can you help with this problem?
