how do i autocomplete a word

everytime i type i see that some words EXTEND themselves to the who word i want...how can i say okay finish it without having to type the rest. for example ill want to type capitalism and ill type capit and ill see that the rest of the words will fill in...whats the command to make it say ok thats the word finish it for me and move on

If I remember correctly you just hit enter.

I found this quite frustrating the first time I dealt with it. I didn´t figure it out until this happened with 2 words in the drop down list.

Hit the down arrow and select the word, then hit enter.

Hi,
Jim is right per default it is 'enter' rsp. 'return'.
If this doesn't please you just change the key shortcut by going to Extras -> auto correct -> word completion ->
accept with ... options.
