Pink characters in table

Whenever I type something into a table I get pink underlined characters the file is in .doc format.

Reconfigure your writing application. It's not a bug or such. I hope you're using OpenOffice.

Go to "EXTRAS" --> "OPTIONS"

In the navigation tree it's the first node "OPENOFFICE.ORG" and the 10th point "PRESENTATIO/DESIGN" (don't know what it's in english - I've got it in german.)

Now scroll down the list and see "Samrt Tags". Is it that colour?

Unfortunately I do not have the powers to change the state of this question to SOLVED, EXPIRED or INVALID. Someone here at Launchpad either grant me that permission or simply apply the change in state to this question, please.
