Read-Only File System on ONY USB Mem Stick

Asked by morgandeath@suddenlink.net

I get not update any files on my PNY USB mem stick.

I get am trying to change the permissions:

sudo su
chmod 6777 or 4777

and I get Read-Only File System.

What can I do to be able to write and read to this drive and copy my data to and from it?

Thanks
