recent documents

Hi
If you open recent docs. It has at the bottom clear recent documents there
(go to Places-recent docs-(at the bootom) then clear.

that doesn't clear the recent docs in openoffice word. wish it would.

There's an extension to change recent documents history size or clear it:
History Manager http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/histmngr

To install it:
1. Download the extension.
2. In OpenOffice choose Tools => Package Manager...
3. Press Add button and open the extension file (HistoryManager2.1.oxt).
4. Restart OpenOffice.
5. Open Tools => Add-Ons => History Manager.
6. Press the Clear button.

Recent documents history will be cleaned after OpenOffice restart.

still after i download this extension........it's on the desktop........now what.???? in openoffice work under tools, there is no package manager??

i have this extension installed..........it looks weird , like only half the little window opens........anyways.....i click clear----doesn't work........i reset the amount docs to save to zero----doesn't work????? can i uninstall this extension since it doesn't work, i hate having stuff laying around like that????????

i just realized.........i have to close the app. then reopen it and then their gone.........it still looks strange. when the little History Manager window opens, it's only half there.....????? anyways .... i guess it does work!
