Hi,
I would recommend GIMP, Inkscape, or Scribus. These can all be installed from the Add/Remove item under the Applications menu. GIMP actually comes by default.

Inkscape or sodipodi, to install this packages you must have universal repository in your /etc/apt/sources.list

if so to install just:

sudo aptitude install inkscape

or

sudo aptitude install sodipodi

I'm also interested in "corel draw" substitute for wondows Corel Draw. Althouugh the above products were recomemded, but can someone please elaborate on whether they are reasonably similar / sophicticated as Corel Draw?

Can you help with this problem?
