Date Format in base

Using base, I have defined a date field using a custom format of YYYY.
When I enter 1998 in that field, it displays 1905.

Hi peterg,

I think the problem is that you enter only the year in the field.

I think the YYYY format is the display format. You must still enter the dates with the day, month and year.

By doing tests at home, after i choose the YYYY format date:

With the value 2008 -> openoffice display 1905

With the value 01/01/2008 -> openoffice display 2008.
