If you use charmap you can probably find one in the symbol, webdings or wingdings fonts. You can copy and paste from the application too

Hi Annie

Go to Insert > Special Character... and select the OpenSymbol font. You will find a selection of telephone symbols there. If you select one, then click OK, it will be inserted into the current cell.

Another way is to note the Unicode for the symbol. It is shown in the bottom left of the Special Character widow. It has the format U+E012, for instance. You can then insert the character using the code by typing Ctrl-Shift-u followed by the code (omitting the U+) and hitting Return. For E012 you will get . For E407 you will get , and so on.
