change time from 12 hr to 24 hr system

Asked by Rudolf Harmsen

Using open office, I want to use 24 hour notations, like 16:30 instead of 04:30:00 pm. when I type in 16:30 it changes my entry into ### which I can only change into the longer old fashioned one. How do I reset this?

Hi Rudolf

As far as Is I can see, time INPUT is always 24hr, i.e 16:30.

What is DISPLAYED depends on the Cell format (Format > Cells.. or Right Click and choose Format Cells... then select Time)

Hope that helps

Tony
