When drawing a free-form line from the spreadsheet, clicking a position for the first point does not work. It only works by clicking and dragging. Also, it is better to show the full line, instead of dotted line in cases where a pure horizontal or vertical line is desired.

Asked by Romeo Olida

About drawing lines:
When I'm drawing a pure horizontal or vertical line, without showing a full line, I can't know for sure if the line is not crooked since it is showing dotted line. Normally in the other spreadsheets, like excel, a solid line can be selected to facilitate horizontal or vertical line drawing.
Also, when I start to click the first point, it does not work that way, I have to click and drag to the next point for it to work. Again, this is in comparison other spreadsheets.

hi,
when drawing a line, holding down shift will draw lines with intervals of 15-degrees. This makes drawing pure horizontal and vertical lines easy.
About clicking and dragging, that is just something one has to get used to, i think.
I hope this solves your problem, otherwise let us know.
