Hi Pat

You will have to explain more about what you want to do.

There is, for instance, Conditional Formatting, where you can highlight overdue dates with a red background. Is this the sort of thing you want?

I want to be notified that an account payable is due and money needs to be deposited to cover accts. I like the conditional formatting idea. Any other suggestions? Thanks for your quick reply.
