cant print individual pages

Using Openoffice in Ubuntu 7.10 I try to print individual sheets from a large document using "File" "Print" then defining the pages using Print Range and "Pages" that I want then "OK" and nothing happens. The document print status shows it is being processed to print. I am using a wireless network and can print the individual sheets if I use Openoffice in Vista

hi:

try with:
sudo aa-complain cupsd
I had something similar and it was because of apparmour, hope that helps
