How can i import external data in openoffice spreadsheet ?

I HAVE TO IMPORT EXTERNAL DATA IN HTML FORMAT TO AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET.

IN WINDOWS OS THE OPTION IS THERE UNDER THE TAB 'DATA' BUT IN LINUX NO SUCH OPTION IS THERE

Hi Shyam,

Are you talking about OpenOffice.org when you say there is an import option for HTML data on the 'Data' tab in Windows? I cannot find one.

That said, I have successfully selected tables in documents in a browser and pasted them into a spreadsheet. Have you tried that?
