No proper guide

Please send me a complete guide on how to use openoffice.org database. The help option provided there dosen't work. It shows that the help packages haven't been installed. Isn't that supposed to be installed by default with linux. Please do a favour by mailing me the help book. Even if the error message is coming because of improper installation, it would be easier for u people to send me the help book instead of me reinstalling Linux!
