Running an extension program from Open Office

I've downloaded the Professional Template pack 2 from the extensions section of the Open Office website but when I try open it, what happens is the Archive Manager comes up with the message

Could not open "Sun_ODF_Template_Pack2_en-US.oxt"

Archive type not supported.

I am using Ubuntu 11.10

Sadly I have no idea what this means or what I need to do to make it work so be grateful if you could help. Thank you.

Maybe try to find the template package for linux, in case post the link from download page or ask openoffice forums.
