spreadsheet,need to change percent of no.people seen in month,ie 20 clients seen 18 need %,please

new to spreadsheets, I need to calculate in percent IE, have 20 clients but seen 18 in January, how do I capture or change to percents for my spreadsheet report?

I am assuming you are using Open Office Calc

Percentage is: ( Number / Total) x 100

So if for example you have the number of clients in A1,
The Total in B1 and you want the percentage in C1

Then you enter the formula in C1
=(A1/B1)*100
