*.ods how to sort alphabetically on column A

there used to be a simple sort alphabetically for spreadsheets now seems obscure via sort lists?? Just want to sort by column A alphabeticall help file does not have anything for this.

Hi John,

I am assuming you are using LibreOffice Calc to open the spreadsheet....go to the Menu on the top, select Data-Sort, and then sort however you require.

There is also a button on the main toolbar that has a 'a..z' with an arrow icon under it that will do the same task.

thanks Paul I also had to select all by the leftmost column otherwise it was sorting only the A column and not sorting the rest of the columns NOT good
