I am unable to access the Thesaurus. It is greyed out. Can I possibly turn it on??

Is there a way to turn on the Thesaurus? It is greyed out and I can not access it. Thanks!!!

Run in a terminal:

sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install openoffice.org-thesaurus-en-us

Hi, thank you for trying to help. I ran above in terminal, was asked for my password but not able to enter it. When typing password, terminal would not accept.
