deleting non-english fonts from Oo writer

Asked by Fred

How do I delete non-English fonts from my Oo writer?? When I installed Ubuntu I specified ENGLISH and QWERTY keyboard. Apparently since my IP address is in the Philippines, the powers think I do not know what I want, even tho I use the main server to download.

I have gone thru synaptic trying to remove, all of the non-English fonts. I still have loads of them in my Oo Writer!!

Fonts in package list start with ttf-* or otf-*.
Examples.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/natty/ttf-linux-libertine
http://packages.ubuntu.com/natty/otf-ipafont

After removal update font cache.
sudo fc-cache

or restart Xserver by logout-in.
