Bangla Font: I can not write bangla in open office.

I can not write bangla in open office. I am very new in ubuntu. please help me some how.

Close all OpenOffice.org windows, then install the package called openoffice.org-l10n-bn (one way to do this is in Applications > Ubuntu Software Center). Then go back into OpenOffice.org, and Bangla should appear in the various options in Tools > Language. For example, if you go to Tools > Language > For All Text > More... you should be able to select it under "Default languages for documents". You should also be able to use it without making it the default, by choosing a different option (whatever is most appropriate for what you're doing) in the Tools > Language menu.
