Looking for a program to open up .pub or .mht files on Ubuntu

Asked by Jeb E.

Hey, I am doing a project for school and I am really looking for a program that opens Microsoft Publisher, or .pub files and/or .mht files. Is there something that can open those files that is free for Ubuntu??

Thanks!

You may be able to open .pub (guessing Publisher) files (extensions mean nothing in Linux with scribus

Then you should have said "edit" instead of "open"

Seems if you rename it to .eml you can use thunderbird to work with it...

lol. It is fine now. I just copied an pasted and reformatted the text I have, because I also saved it as a PDF, and I am now working with it in Openoffice.org Draw.

I do think that is funny how Microsoft can't even keep up with their own technology, though! :P
