Hi

I'm not an expert at doing anything in a non-Latin script, but here area few pointers...

Go to Tools > Options... > Language Settings > Languages.

Under Default Language for Documents, you will need CTL set to the appropriate version of Arabic. You will need Enabled for complex text layout (CTL) checked before you can do that.

(It is worth clicking on Help while you are in that window and following some of the links which describe CTL features and how to use them).

I think you will also need Arabic installed as a language at the OS level, ie System > Administration > Language Support, but you may have that already.

Hope that helps.

Tony
