Hi Kevin

Yes it is perfectly possible to store photos in OOo Base,

I would suggest you make a trial database to try out what you need. If you create a new table using the Wizard and select Category = Personal, you will see Photo as a listed field. If you add that to the table, this will show you the data type that Base uses for images.

To put Images into a database you will need to create a Form with appropriate fields on it. This is fairly straightforward if you haven't done it before. There is a toolbar down the side with the controls you can add to the form. Towards the bottom of this toolbar, is a More Controls button. This opens a second, floating , toolbar which has the Image Control on it.

When you add the first control, you will need to right click on it and select Form. This brings up the form properties. On the data tab, you specify the table that contains the data. Then for each control, you need to right click and select Control, and on the control properties data tab you specify the data fields.

When you toggle Design Mode Off, you will see that you can right click in the Image control and select 'Insert graphics from...'

If you need more help, do ask, but if this answers your question, please mark it as Solved.
