Calc. Unusable functions in es_MX. Funciones inutilizables en es_MX

There are some Calc functions that have been translated into Spanish, the translation is identical making them unusable:

- Find (Text function) -> Buscar
- Lookup (Spreadsheet function) -> Buscar

When you type "Buscar", Calc assumes that you want "Lookup" instead of "Find". There is no way to tell Calc which function is the one you need.

Existen funciones en Calc que han sido traducidas al español y cuya traducción es idéntica, por lo que se empalma con otras funciones, haciéndolas inutilizables:

Al poner Buscar, Calc asume que se trata de Lookup y no hay modo de decir que el Buscar deseado es Find.

This is due to bug 585437. If you go to that page, you can use the green link near the top that says "This bug affects N people. Does this bug affect you?" to indicate that you are affected by the bug. Doing this might provide additional impetus to the developers, to fix the bug. You can also click the green "Subscribe" link on the right, if you want to receive notifications when the bug's status changes (for example, when it is fixed) and when comments are posted in the bug.

That page also includes a workaround that you can use. If you decide to use that workaround, and you need help with it, please feel free to post again.
