Quick question, I have a pre-existing table from a customer I'm helping with I plan to learn all I can about office.org over tiime but I need a quick answer of how to multiply all the values in collum "F" times 1.35 and show the ansewer in collum "H". There's just too much Docs to look thru for the time I've got to get this done. Could someone just help me real quick. Please? Thanks alot
Michael

Suppose the first row in which you want to do this is row 2. Then click in the cell H2, type the text

=F2*1.35

and press enter.

Now copy that cell (Ctrl+C), and then select down column H to the last row in which you want this done. (You can do that by holding shift and pressing down-arrow to select down one row at a time, by holding shift and pressing Page Down to select down a whole page at a time, or by holding shift and clicking in the lowest cell in column H that you want selected.) Once you've selected all the cells you want to copy down into, paste (Ctrl+V).

That paste operation will automatically change the row numbers in each copy of the formula, so that H3 will have "=F3*1.35", H4 will have "=F4*1.35", and so forth, all the way down.

Note that this is exactly the same as the way you would do it in Microsoft Excel.

double click on the lower right corner and the cell will replicate down the column to the next empty cell on the row on the left.

eg. if you have rows A1 to R1 filled, double clicking on A1 will fill B1 down to R1

if F1 is empty, then double clicking results in B1 to E1 being replicated

formulas are changed accordingly
