Hi

Fonts are installed by the operating system for use by all applications, including OOo.

Go to Applications > Software Centre and put ttf-ms in the search box. Install the package ttf-mscorefonts-installer. This will give you Times New Roman, Arial, etc

sir i have run

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

after some packeges installing an end user lisence agreement came on the terminal, after that I cant do anything, then I tried with application>software center >ttf-mscorefonts-installer.

but it is already installed there.but i cant find my fonts in open office.thank you
