Dependency(ooobasis3.2-sdk_3.2.1-18) not satisfied while installing ooobasis3.2-sdk_3.2.1-18

Asked by Parth Bera

Hi,

I downloaded openoffice sdk (ooobasis3.2-sdk_3.2.1-18_amd64.deb) and while installing USC notified:

"Dependency is not satisfiable: ooobasis3.2-core01"

I just had a fresh install of maverick amd64. I tried to search relevant deb file on internet but could not find it. Do I need to purge openoffice and install it again using a deb file from openoffice.org ?

Kindly let me know if there exists other options that I can try.

Thank You

Use the repository version. Downloading deb files randomly from the internet bypasses the dependency resolution process and can break your install. Among other things. All you need to do is install openoffice.org-dev
