Splash screen - recent documents

One feature I feel is missing from the splash screen is a button short cutting to recent documents.

A lot of the time you are wanting to re-open an existing document and having a short cut from the splash screen would be useful.

Hi Phil

This is really not the place to make suggestions for improvement.

You should place such request on the OpenOffice.org issuezilla,

http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/submission_gateway.html

is a starting point. You will need to Register on the site to post but that
only takes a few minutes.

That is the place for suggestions. Each app does hold it's own recent docs but the recent docs for ALL in a single place would be handy
