condence pages/paragraph of a text document in Openoffice 3.2 ?

Asked by bendinriver

There is a sub-program in Microsoft WORD which lets you condense a text document to shorten the wording or length of a document. It allows the contents to be reduced by a % percentage but retains the major points of its content. Is this feature is available in OpenOffice 3.2 where is it, and where do I find it ?

If it is not available in OpenOffice Programs, may I suggest it should be incorporated as a feature of the word process program.

things like this, you can ask and make suggestions at the openoffice.org forum.
you'll get a faster response as the people there are diehard users of openoffice.

Hi

OpenOffice.org extension programs are found at

http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/project

You may find something similar there.

Please remember that this is an Ubuntu help facility and so the people who help here may not have any experience of MS Word.

Hope this helps.

Tony
