Having selected several text lines i accidentally deleted them and also saved the file and then closed it. Have I lost those lines forever or can I recover them?

unLESS...it was a file that you opened, then deleted the text and you have set openoffice to save backups. the deleted text will still be in the backup. unLESS, you edited the file again and saved it again. then it is REALLY gone FOREVER!
