in open office is there a way to save your work as a .pdf?

Asked by John Wilson

I am working in OpenOffice preparing a document for a commercial printer who wants the file in .pdf format.
I seem to remember that you could convert a .jpeg to a .pdf by printing to file but don't seem to be able to do this with an .odt
Any suggestions of a work around or do I print it and scan it?

There is an icon to print in PDF.
But if you want to change the settings (like resolution), use the main menu, there is an option to export in PDF.
