The 10.10 distro has a broken version of OOo spreadsheet

Templates which worked in previous versions of Ubuntu no longer work in the version of OOo Spreadsheet (3.2.1). The semicolon parameter separator is replaced by a comma and cannot be corrected. It is necessary to remove OOo 3.2.1 and install version 3.3.

Yes, I would like to. But after several hours searching, this is the closest I came to being able to tell some Ubuntu people about it.
It reminds me of Franz Kafka's The Castle.

Hi Denham

The correct way is to open a terminal and enter this command

ubuntu-bug openoffice.org

then follow the instructions.

When you have created the bug report, come back to this question and use 'Link existing bug to get it linked to your bug.
