PDF Document prints black in ubuntu 9.04

Dear Sir,

   Am using Ubuntu 9.04 OS, while taking printout on PDF files, it prints black for the images to be printed, apart from that, all the other documents are printing clearly, while taking print from gmail also it prints simply black pages, is there any updates to be installed in Ubuntu for printing PDF files.? kindly help me...................

9.04 is going to die on the 23rd October 2010. I suggest you upgrade soon as any bugs you logged will simply be dropped as the release is not supported.

You could install adobe reader instead and use that, it may help

The recommended way to install Adobe Reader would be from the Canonical Partners repository (package:acroread). This would have the added bonus of getting security updates from Adobe automatically (as opposed to checking/installing them manually).

And yes, upgrade to 9.10 ASAP, 9.04 is about to be EOL:
