Import numbers into OpenOffice

Asked by Luis M.Jacinto

I import tables with numbers to be calculated on this form 133 709 398, 33 164 605 and 097 001 which represents 133,709,398 - 33,164,605 - 97,001 as are shown the figures have spaces, so I have to edit and delete the spaces one by one until I get a calculated figure.
Is there way that I can do this automatic?

Maybe I have misunderstood the problem, but if you want to get rid of the spaces and convert the data to a single number:
Highlight all the cells you want to convert.
Press Ctrl+F.
In 'Search for' insert a space [tap spacebar once]
leave 'Replace with' blank
tap 'Replace all'
You should find the spaces disappear and the data in each cell becomes a large number.
