Follow the following steps :

1.Go to Insert > Object > Formula

This will open you a toolbox.

2.Select "Formats menu" in the toolbox.

3.Select "Subscript Bottom"

4.Type "Lim" before csub command.

5.Type "2x + 3" at the end of the command line ( at absolute end.Not the arguement of csub.)

6.Click on the Subscript spaceholder and Select "Relations" Menu in toolbox and select "Towards" option and fill in "x" and "3" in the two fields.

7.This will do. In short your formula command will look like this :

Lim csub{x toward 3 } 2x+3

Hope this helps.

Rohit
