freezing panes

How so I do freeze panes (freezing several columns) in OO spreadsheet so I can see the 1st few columns when I scroll across?

Hi Melissa

This is quite easy. If, for instance, you want to freeze the first two columns, A & B, do this:

Highlight cell C1

Then do Window > Freeze.

In general, if you highlight a cell in row 1, it will freeze all the columns to the left of it. If you highlight a cell in column A, it will freeze all rows above it. If you highlight any other cell, it will freeze rows above it and columns to the left of it.
