1) Adjust using the ruler on left hand side of page

2) Format > Page... > Page tab > Margins Top & Bottom)

3) For a more permanent change - F11 (to get Styles box), choose Page styles icon, and either Modify the Default page style or do a New page style (by right clicking on the Default page style)

In earlier versions , there are vertical rulers on both sides of a page ,which are convenient rather than the depicted method.
In the absence of the same I will follow new one.

Hi sunil

If you do not have the vertical ruler, go to Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org Writer > View and check 'Vertical ruler'
