changing number of decimal points in open office calc

Asked by mara

Hi, could anyone help me to change number of decimal points for creating graphs. I'm beginning a science degree. Will open office calc be adequate? The course suggests using Microsoft Excel, but I've used linnux for years. Thanks, Mara

You may want to consider the following tools: Grace, Labplot, SciDavis, QtiPlot. These are closer to Origin than to Excel, which is not the best tool for scientific computing. Calc can do most of what Excel can, but there are better tools nonetheless. You may also want to have a look at the R statistical package. Hope this helps.
