MS Fonts Help

I've installed the MS fonts package, but, it doesn't display the "Monotype Corsiva" font properly. Additionally, when starting a fresh document, the "Monotype Corsiva" font is not available as an option. Is it available, but can't interpret my existing document, or is this not an option for Open Office?

Please perform this command after installing the MS fonts package:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -plow fontconfig

Can you help with this problem?
