Do any openoffice stacktraces work? I've only ever seen failed reports.

Asked by Bryan Quigley

There also don't appear to be any openoffice debug files. Is there any up-to-date guide on debugging and triaging openoffice bugs in Ubuntu?

You could use debugging tools or apport.

I'm looking through bug reports (done by apport) and finding them adding seemingly no useful information..

Usually Apport includes log files, e.g. xsession-errors, Xorg.0.log.
Maybe you find backtrace useful (section Debugging Tools in mentioned link).
