Auto captialising of text in table cells

I have a column in my table where the text needs to remain lower case. However, whenever I enter text or edit it, the first letter of the first word automatically capitalises. How can I turn this off?

First, select Tools > AutoCorrect Options
Next, go to the Options tab
Finally, uncheck "Capitalize first letter of every sentence"

If you have more than one language dictionary then make sure you do this for the correct language.
