OpenMovieEditor binary?

Is there a binary available for Open Movie Editor? I see the source code but hasn't someone already compiled this and, if so, why not simply upload it and make it available to others?

Have you tried the ubuntu package yet? On Jaunty, I see the "openmovieeditor" package available. Use Synaptic or apt-get to install if you haven't.

A-ha! Yes, I do see it in Intrepid (8.10). I installed it and it launched. Thanks for your assistance!
